Coral Honeysuckle, aka Trumpet Honeysuckle, is known for its decorative fringe-like clusters of bright red-coral tubular flowers that bloom throughout spring and summer. The flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies and then mature into berries that draw songbirds in late summer and fall.

It's native to Florida and other areas throughout the United States. In South Florida, Coral Honeysuckle normally stays evergreen in Zone 10B and suffers minor leaf drop in Zone 10A, more in Zone 9B.

The leaves are beautiful glossy dark green on top and silvery green underneath— and can provide a nice backdrop for other landscape plants. These vines are domestic enough to work well in large containers or planter boxes.

Coral Honeysuckle is generally low-maintenance once it's established since it is drought tolerant and does not attract any particular pests. It may require occasionally pruning since individual stems can grow up to 15 feet in length

Plant in full to part sun for the most blooms.
