Zebra Plant Calathea 'zebrina'
Calathea zebrina, aka Zebra Plant. It has distinctive, ornamental leaves with bright green zebra-like stripes on a velvety dark green background. Leaf undersides are a reddish-purple color. This eye-catching Calathea will add a bold, colorful, and highly decorative element to your houseplant collection.
These plants do not thrive well in low humidity, leaves may roll or turn brown. The direct sun usually causes foliage to scorch. Calathea must be kept in damp soil at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil.
