Raven ZZ

Most of us are familiar with the survivor plant Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'ZZ' plant', but a new and exotic variety has captured the hearts of household enthusiasts. The Raven ZZ boasts a bright green new growth that matures into a deep purple foliage that looks almost black.

The ZZ is a highly dependable houseplant because it can endure low light and has low water requirements.

ZZ usually grows slowly to a height and width of two to three feet.

ZZ plant also is an air purifier and in a NASA study, researchers found it is specifically adept at removing chemical pollution from the air.

Water every 2-3 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
