Calathea Dottie

Bold and beautiful! Calathea Dottie is known for its shiny black leaves with pink streaks. Green foliage with deep burgundy undersides is complemented with a ribbon of bright pink marking sure to brighten up any space. The effect is particularly stunning when these leaves are paired with the green hues of other houseplants. The Dottie Calathea is a low-maintenance plant and does extremely well when planted in containers. It has a clumping growth habit that adds interest to the already unique appearance! During the summer and fall, it produces white blooms.

This plant loves indirect light but does not enjoy direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves. Keep the soil damp. The plant should not sit in soil that is overly wet.
