Roebelenii Pygmy (Date Palm)

The Robelliini-Pigmy Date Palm which originates from southern China is known for its beautiful fronds which have sharp needle-like spikes. Pygmy Date palms come in single, double, triple, or multi trunks. They have flowing, feathery type foliage that makes for a spectacular somewhat smaller accent palm.
This slow-growing palm can grow up to a height of 10 feet and as it matures, the trunk develops wonderful marks or scars which naturally occur as the older fronds drop.
Roebelenii is a cold hardy palm that can tolerate cold down to 15F when mature enough. Best in zone It is great for USDA Zones 8b - 11
Full sun to partial shade. It prefers full sun but can grow in partial shade.
