Dwarf Oyster is a slow to moderate grower that grows in any light but does best in part shade to partial sun.

The Dwarf oyster plant is an improved cultivar that is lower and slower growing and less invasive than its taller growing parent. The leaves are a dark teal-tinged forest green on top and vivid violet underneath.

Dwarf Oyster Plant is useful in mass as a groundcover, border plant, and especially as an underplanting for palms and other larger shrubs and trees that will provide it some shade.

These succulent plants reach about 8 inches in height. It is a slow-spreading plant with a neat appearance and attractive color and texture that works in both formal or casual landscapes.

These plants only get about 8 inches tall. They do best in Zone 10 and areas of Zone 9B that border Zone 10, especially in a protected spot
