Bottlebrush is remarkably easy to grow when planted right and in the right spot. Their unique, brightly red blooms, bottlebrush-like flowers add exciting visual interest to the garden. Bottlebrush has multiple uses in the landscape. When grown as a shrub they are useful as specimens, in groupings, or as formal or informal hedges and screens.

The Bottlebrush prefers full sun to produce the best show of color and is drought-tolerant. It is also noted for being attractive to butterflies, birds, and bees.

Bottlebrush will grow in full sun or part shade. For best flowering provide at least 5 hours of direct sunlight or all-day lightly filtered sun.
