Sweet Almond Bush
Sweeet Alamanda is a large shrub or small tree with cluster of small white attractive, sweetly fragrant flowers blooming from spring to fall.
This plant is grown for its intensely fragrant flowers. They bloom on new growth so pruning frequently will keep its size intact, but also increase blooms. It prefers average to dry well-drained soil in full sun and can tolerate some drought.
Its intensely fragrant flowers attract a host of pollinators and it is considered to be an especially good honey plant.
Sweet Almond is a common garden plant, especially in southern states.
Plant in full sun to light shade.
Drought tolerant; once established water every other week during the dry weather.
