Silver Buttonwood
The Silver buttonwood is an evergreen shrub with low-growing branches and multiple trunks.
A member of the Combretaceae family and is considered a great addition to Florida coastal gardens due to its unusual silvery-gray color leaves, appealing growth habit, and shapely trunk. Silver buttonwood makes for a striking hedge shrub, accent, or small tree that contrasts beautifully with the green landscape.
This shrub can grow to resemble a tree reaching a height of 15 feet. The plant does well in full sun to partial shade and is drought tolerant.
