Panama Rose
Panama Rose, aka Bush Pentas, a lovely semi-tropical perennial that can grow up to 5 ft in height.
Panama rose plant is a small, sprawling evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves. It blooms nearly year-round with bright reddish-pink flower clusters that attract butterflies.
The flowers have a light daytime scent that grows stronger in the evening, so they're especially nice planted near a patio or other area where you can enjoy the fragrance.
This shrub is one of the most consistent flowering bushes, it makes a great accent plant, mid-height hedge along a fence or property line, or a colorful addition to a garden bed of butterfly plants.
Panama rose is suitable for growing in zones 9 through 11.
Thriving in hot sunny spots, this is a good low-maintenance plant, except for the occasional trimming for size. Panama rose a fast grower and can be kept 3 feet tall with regular trimming.
