The Pittosporum, aka Japanese Mock Orange, is a popular broadleaf evergreen shrub native to China and Japan.
Pittosporum is an easy to grow evergreen shrub with fragrant white to light yellow flowers with shiny green foliage that bloom for several weeks each spring releasing a sweet citrus scent. This slow-growing shrub is salt-tolerant, drought-tolerant, and grows in full sun to partial shade preferring hot, dry weather. The shrub can be grown as a hedge or a tree.
