Jatropha
The Jatropha can be categorized as a tropical shrub or small tree that makes a beautiful accent in any landscape. Bright red flowers cover this extremely butterfly-friendly plant from spring through to fall! The tropical evergreen plant has glossy leaves and gorgeous clusters of star-like bright red flowers that bloom year-round. It can grow in a rounded domed shape up to 15 feet tall and 10 feet wide but it can also be pruned as a smaller hedge. The plant is tolerant of different soils and does well in full sun to partial shade. It is also drought tolerant. The plant is also known as the Buddha Belly Plant or Bottleplant Shrub.
